  • A lot of people think the US Auto industry's problems are of their own making.   I can't believe Chysler still doesn't have a hybrid out!   And then when the companies  do bring a hybird out it's often on something where the increase is only 2MPG!

  • I think the expectations for McCain are now much higher. While he has totally miscalculated things this past week, he now has to have a fantastic debate to undo the damage. Anything mediocre for him is a loss and could essentially result in the election being lost.

  • The McCain camp is damned if they do and damned if they don't. It seems Palin really can't handle a free flowing question and answer session without looking like a programmed robot. And the repub base doesn't care if she never has a news conference.

  • I find it very interesting (and reassuring) that 49% per the NBC/WSJ disapprove of Palin. It seems that with the few instances of her being infront of the lights all she can do is parrot the party line. No original thoughts at all. At this rate she may never appear before the press.

  • I think the MSM has greatly improved in this area latley. I'm noticing lots of fact checking and reporting of all the inaccuracies that are being spewed about.

  • I think one of the bigger national polls from yesterday, stated about 50% of the people weren't even following the election!!!!!
